Tegan and Sara are a Canadian indie pop duo formed in 1998[ii] in Calgary, Alberta, composed of identical twin sisters Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin (built-in September 19, 1980).[3] Both musicians are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists.[4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

In 2020, their vocal "Brand Y'all Mine This Season" was featured in the pic Happiest Season starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis. Directed by a friend of theirs, Clea DuVall.
